It appears Tony Lopez is finally facing consequences for his alleged actions.
According to TMZ, the TikTok star is being sued by two underage girls for sexual battery and emotional distress. The girls, who filed under the aliases H.L. Doe and C.H. Doe, allege that the 21-year-old Hype House member knew they were underage and attempted to coerce them into meeting up for sexual interactions, groomed them via text message and DM, and solicited nude photos from the teens.
H.L. Doe also claims Tony had sex with her back in January 2020 when she was just 15-years-old.
Fellow Hype House members, Thomas Petrou and Chase “Lil Huddy” Hudson are being sued as part of the lawsuit as well for negligence.
This news comes off the back of a tumultuous six months for Tony Lopez, who’s faced numerous accusations of inappropriate sexual behaviour against minors. At least four alleged victims have revealed their encounters with the star via Twitter, including C.H. Doe who was the first to speak out against Tony.
In July 2020, the teen posted a series of photos online reportedly sent to her by Tony’s private Snapchat— all of which have now been deleted. One photo contained the caption “Show me your boobs,” while another showed Tony allegedly revealing himself in a mirror selfie with the caption, “Why did I shave? I’m a virgin”.
She also shared Snapchat messages allegedly from the internet personality which read, “Wyd sexy send me some” and “Get the merch so I can fuck you both in it”.
After tons of backlash from Tony stans and attempts to discredit her claims, C.H. Doe then posted a screen recording to prove the photos and messages came from Tony Lopez’s account.
Despite the evidence stacked against him, Tony told TMZ, “These allegations are not at all true. I never sent nudes to these women and didn’t ask them to send me pictures either. And, I certainly wouldn’t have sex with someone who told me they were underage. This whole thing seems like a money grab to me. I’m going to fight it to the very end. I will not allow them to continue to slander my name and attack my character.”
Prior to the lawsuit being filed, Tony addressed the allegations against him in a Twitter note posted on August 22nd 2020. He did not deny the accusations, writing that he is “not proud” of his past choices and actions and is “truly disappointed” in himself.
He then went to imply that his accusers did not reveal their true age to him until it was too late. “I am quickly learning that you can’t believe everything that you are told,” he wrote. “Once I found out the truth, I immediately stopped.”
He finished by saying these interactions were “extremely irresponsible” and he will hold himself responsible rather than run from it. He promised to make better decisions moving forward.
