Looks like Rihanna is getting ready to expand her empire!
The beauty mogul and singer, who was named America’s youngest self-made billionaire woman, has reportedly filed a new trademark for a new “R” logo.
The trademark looks to include various goods and services such as phone cases, backpacks, posters, jewellery, and LED light sticks.
With Rihanna slated to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next year, fans speculate that the new trademark is for tour merch. Given that Rihanna hasn’t released an album since ANTI in 2016, many social media users are hoping that new music is on the horizon.
Earlier this year, Pop Crave reported that Rihanna had filed another new trademark under ‘Fenty Hair,’ which encompassed various brushes and combs, hair accessories like bands and clips, as well as wigs and extensions.
The new mum first filed this trademark in March 2021 for hair treatments, straightening, relaxing and waving agents, and dry shampoo.
Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty back in 2017, revolutionising the beauty industry with its wildly inclusive shade range from the jump. The brand has since continued to see massive success, launching several subsidiaries, including lingerie line Savage x Fenty and skincare brand Fenty Skin.
While there doesn’t seem to be a release date on the cards yet, the filing of new products and logos has us eagerly anticipating Rihanna’s next career move!
