Millie Bobby Brown is prioritising her mental health these days and it seems taking time off social media may be part of that plan.

After a tumultuous few days online, the Stranger Things star has deleted her TikTok account with no word on if she’ll return to the app. The news first broke via TikTok Room who posted that “many people are wondering” why the actress’s profile could no longer be found.

Though Millie hasn’t directly addressed her departure from the platform— where she boasted over 16 million followers — the 16-year-old has not been shy about her mental health struggles in recent days.

Following her exit from TikTok, Mills posted an IG story promoting positivity and kindness.

“Realizing that surrounding yourself with positivity is the happiest way of living,” she wrote. “No hate & only love❤️ Remember to be kind… THANK YOU X.”

Despite her best efforts to remain positive, the star jumped on Instagram stories earlier today in tears after a fan invaded her privacy while Christmas shopping with her mother.

The Enola Holmes actress explains the fan asked if she could video Millie in-store to which Millie declined. “I was paying and she walked past me and began to video me,” the star recounts despite asking the fan not to video her. “I said ‘I’m a human being, like what more can I ask from you?'”

Millie then broke down in tears saying, “It just makes me upset when people try to push the boundary and I just wish people were more respectful.”

She goes on to reveal she’s “still trying to navigate” fame and calls it “overwhelming.” “I’m making this video to say you have to show more respect for others,” she finishes.

Shortly after posting the story sequence, Millie shared a slide saying she is “totally fine now” and was “emotional in the moment because I felt uncomfortable and disrespected.”

Millie’s recent activity has fans speculating on why the star removed herself from TikTok.

Some claim it was because trolls flooded her comment section with references to fake homophobic memes that caused the star to delete Twitter back in 2018, while others claim it’s because Millie was being bullied for using an android phone.

No matter what the reasoning, we’re just glad Millie’s putting herself and her happiness first.
