TikTok personality Claudia Conway is defending her mother against allegations that she posted a nude of the 16-year-old to social media as “revenge porn.”
Yesterday evening, former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway reportedly posted a topless photo of her teenage daughter to Twitter Fleets. The Fleet was quickly deleted, but not before critics could express their concern for Claudia, who has been documenting her tumultuous relationship with her mother via TikTok for months.
The teenager frequently accuses Kellyanne of verbal and physical abuse and is reportedly fighting for emancipation. Claudia has posted several recent TikToks in which the ex-White House staffer allegedly threatens and berates her daughter in what many are calling an “abusive” way.
After receiving a barrage of backlash for the way she treats her daughter, social media users are concerned that Kellyanne posted the topless photo of Claudia as a form of “revenge porn” in an effort to paint the teenager in a negative light.
YouTube star Tana Mongeau is also involved in trying to help the 16-year-old. Shortly after the topless photo was posted, Tana took to Instagram live while on a FaceTime call with Claudia to document Kellyanne’s alleged verbal abuse.
Authorities were called during the argument and a police officer can be seen hanging up Claudia’s FaceTime call with Tana.
Now, Claudia has taken to social media in defense of her mother. In a series of TikTok videos posted earlier today, the teenager addresses the Fleet and claims she is choosing to believe that her mother was “hacked.”
“This isn’t forced, this is coming completely from me, Claudia” she starts. “I have faith and I know that my mother would never put something like that on the internet, as well as me— we would never do that. My mom and I, we fight like mothers and daughters but we also love like mothers and daughters and I do love her.”
Claudia goes on to say that she will be taking a break from social media as the scrutiny is putting a lot of stress on the family. She explains that her TikToks have incited violence on her family and asks fans to stop threatening her mother and calling the authorities. She says she will be working on her relationship with her mother privately.
On the topless photo posted to Fleets, Claudia insists that her mother “would never, ever post anything to hurt me like that intentionally, and I do believe she was hacked.”
She apologises for making her family drama public.
She re-iterates once more that calling authorities and sending hate to her mother and family “hurts us more than it helps us.”
“Making threats and whatnot is really putting my safety at risk and putting me in danger,” she finishes. “Please stop with that. We are going to handle this privately and I will never, ever be speaking about this publicly.”
