Emma Chamberlain is entering her single girl era.
According to E! News, the mega-YouTuber has split from her musician boyfriend, Role Model, after three years of dating.
The couple started dating in 2020 after the musician, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, slid into Emma’s DMs upon watching one of her TikTok videos where she twerked to a Dayglow song in a bathroom.
“For some reason—I don’t know why, had nothing to do with the twerking, I’m not a f*cking creep—but it showed her personality,” he later said of the video that prompted him to message her. “I feel like I’m good at reading people through a screen.”
They texted for about two months before meeting in person.
After much speculation about their relationship, Emma and Role Model made their red carpet debut together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in March 2022. That same week, Role Model released the music video for his single “neverletyougo” featuring Emma.
Emma nor Role Model have revealed the reason for their split. Given how private they were about their relationship, it’s unlikely fans will get answers any time soon.
