Jake Paul is the latest YouTuber to be accused of sexual assault in what some are calling the #MeToo movement of the internet.

TikTok star Justine Paradise has uploaded a YouTube video detailing her alleged experience with Jake Paul.

“I think about it every single day… This story is about Jake Paul. I was going to use a fake name, but if someone else, another girl, is in a situation like me and thinks that it’s just someone that’s nice and sweet. He’s not,” she begins.

In the video, Justine— who boasts over 520,000 followers on TikTok— claims she was texting with a friend “Michael” who invited her over to the Team 10 House in early July 2020. The influencer says she did not know she was going to the Team 10 House and was “thrown off” as she was required to sign an NDA immediately upon arrival.

After returning to the Team 10 House several times over the following weeks, Justine says she and Jake grew closer— even kissing at one point— despite insisting their relationship was “awkward,” likening it to a “middle school crush.”

On the evening of July 19th, she alleges Jake took her hand and led her to his room.

“We were dancing in his room — like, ballroom dancing, you know — then we were like kissing and stuff, and then he like took it to his bed,” she says. “Normally, everybody respects me when I don’t want to do sexual things, so I thought it was fine I went in his room, and I thought it would be fine to kiss him, because I thought he would stop if I didn’t want to do anything else.”

“We were on his bed kissing for a bit, and then every time he would try to put my hand places or try to put his hands places that I didn’t want, I would just kind of move it away and be like, ‘No,’ and then, you know, just kiss,” she recalls.

Justine alleges that Jake got frustrated when she didn’t seem interested in having sex and said to her, “Well if nothing’s going to happen, what’s the point?”

She claims he then stood over her and allegedly forced her to perform oral sex.

“What am I supposed to do? I was still laying down. He was on top of me and holding my head into him. Like, I couldn’t tell him not to, he didn’t ask for consent or anything,” she explains. “He knew I didn’t want to do anything with him.”

Justine says that Jake cut off all communication with her after that.

On why she’s speaking out now, the TikTok star claims she thought signing the NDA prevented her from speaking on the sexual assault.

“As soon as you go into the Team 10 house, right on the side of the wall, there’s this thing that takes your picture and has you sign an NDA form,” she says. “That is why I thought I wasn’t allowed to talk about this… I thought if you signed an NDA, you’re signing away your rights to talk about anything basically.”

This is not the first time Jake Paul has been accused of alleged predatory behaviour towards women. In 2019, the Los Angeles authorities launched an investigation into Jake and his crew after a young woman reported being drugged at a party at the Team 10 House. Jake’s ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet has also spoken out against the YouTuber in years past, claiming he assaulted her by dragging her down a flight of stairs, shoving her, spitting in her face multiple times.

On April 13th, Jake responded to Justine’s allegations via Twitter note, calling them “100% false.”

Jake says Justine’s claim “is solely a manufactured accusation and a blatant attempt for attention during a highly visible fight week.” The YouTube star went on to say he plans to pursue “defamation of character case to the fullest extent of the law” before accusing Justine of using the attention from her allegations against Jake to “promote her adult content website and Amazon shopping list”.

He goes on to say he was in a relationship at the time Justine alleges he sexually assaulted her, and has “never laid a finger on a girl without their consent”.

“I will fight this to the end to prove my innocence,” he finishes. “I won’t back down from it and years from now my character as individual will show and shine through these dark moments.”

In an April 23rd investigation into Jake Paul, Justine told the New York Times that she plans to press charges.
