Gen Z’s favourite swimwear brand has done it again!
Collaborating with the likes of Gigi Hadid, Hailee Steinfeld and Naomi Osaka in the past, Los Angeles-based swimwear label, Frankies Bikinis, is bringing Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney on board for their newest celebrity partnership.
The brand started teasing the campaign two days ago, taking to Instagram to hint that something big is coming. The Frankies Bikinis account shared numerous videos and photos – but did not mention Sydney by name.
Yesterday, the swimwear brand confirmed fan speculations. To introduce Love Letters by Sydney Sweeney, Frankies Bikinis shared a dreamy video of the actress posing in the pieces from her collection.
“Our sexiest collection yet,” the caption reads. “Inspired by the girl who follows her heart, with pieces that highlight Sydney’s gorgeous femininity + sweet romantic aura.”
According to the brand’s website, Sydney’s style sits at the heart of the collection, where each design includes “personal details” from the actress – some pieces even include a kiss print in the shape of Sydney’s lips.
Of course, it was only a matter of time before Sydney collaborated with Frankies Bikinis. Last year, the actress went viral after wearing the Gemma one-piece in Euphoria – I mean, who could forget Sydney’s iconic hot tub scene?
But this collection is not the first time she has dipped her toe in the world of swimwear. Sydney found herself embroiled in a months-long legal battle last year with lifestyle brand LA Collective, where the company sued her for an alleged breach of contract.
The Sydney Sweeney x Frankies Bikini collection will hit the brand’s website next week, with the first drop on March 14. For more details, check out the Frankies Bikini website here.
