Jake Paul’s L.A. home was raided early this morning by the FBI.
TMZ reports that law enforcement was issued a warrant to search the YouTuber’s Calabasas mansion, with nearly 20 officers on the ground searching the premise. Officials showed up wearing tactical gear in armored trucks, leading TMZ to call it a “small milita.”
The FBI will not comment on the reason for the search, telling ABC7, “The affidavit in support of the search warrant is sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation.” However, footage obtained by the network show officials hauling multiple firearms off the property— many of which were scattered across the grounds in open sight.
The search occurred while Jake was out of state.
The star’s attorney has since issued a statement. “We understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake’s Calabasas home this morning while Jake was out-of-state,” Richard Schonfeld told TMZ. “We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”
No arrest has been made at the time of publication.
