In this week’s edition of celebrity beauty brand announcements, Ariana Grande has allegedly filed a trademark for her own skin and body care line!
The news was first reported by Instagram account, TrendMood, who revealed the newlywed singer has filed a trademark for the name ‘God Is A Woman’— after her 2018 song— which will allegedly include “skincare, body care mousse, mists, soufflés, perfumes, shower gels, bath gels”.
Ari is the latest in a slew of celebrities to cash in on the beauty bizz.
Earlier this year, model Hailey Beiber, who’s been the face of Bare Minerals since 2018, filed a trademark for a beauty brand under her middle name ‘Rhode‘ — taking a page out of husband Justin Bieber’s book, who uses his middle name for his clothing line, House of Drew. Similarly, fellow A-list singer Harry Styles is rumoured to be joining the beauty industry as per paperwork discovered by fans just last week, which lists Harry as a co-director (alongside his longtime assistant, Emma Spring) under Pleased As Holdings: a new company registered with the UK Company Directory. The registration shows the nature of the business as the “wholesale of perfume and cosmetics”.
Ari has yet to confirm the news, so check back for updates.
