Touting almost 7 million subscribers and 14 million Instagram followers, as well as being named Beauty Influencer of the Year at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards and Time Magazine’s Most Influential Teen of 2018, Bretman Rock may have just solidified his status in the broader pop culture and lifestyle space. Post collaborations with Morphe and ColourPop, it has been announced the vlogger will now be the star of his own reality show, produced by MTV but airing live on YouTube in 2020.
Off the back of the successful first season with Tana Mongeau, No Filter: Tana Turns 21, MTV is expanding the series into a full franchise, by following the life, beauty collaborations and comedic moves of the Hawaii-based, Filipino born influencer. “MTV has always been a part of mine and my generation’s upbringing…it’s a very iconic brand name and I’m so honoured to be working with them,” Bretman said to Tubefilter.
As Nylon reports, “It’s a fact that this bitch right here is gonna have his own MTV show. I am going to be the newest MTV reality star…It’s going to be something you guys have never seen before. It is going to be the rawest Bretman Rock that you guys will ever see. You guys will see everything; you’ll see my whole family,” Bretman said in an Instagram takeover of the MTV No Filter account.
We are counting down the days to see what Bretman pulls out for his first season.
