Tana Mongeau has officially apologised to Khloe Kardashian for tweeting about ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson and daughter True.
In the first episode of her new podcast ‘Cancelled,’ the YouTube star— best known for her exaggerated storytime videos and various internet scandals over the years— addressed her June 20th tweet that Tristan was “one of the first attendees” at her birthday party.
Tana also mentioned Khloe and Tristan’s 3-year-old daughter True in the tweet, writing, “like babe where’s true”.
Tana’s co-host Brooke Schofield starts, “Where you went wrong was mentioning their child by name.”
Tana responded saying, “To be fair, I will apologise for that. I was just trying to make a joke. It was more so that it was Father’s Day, and the things that I saw him do after midnight, literally on Father’s Day in this party.”
“In hindsight, I shouldn’t have involved myself,” she continued. “And Khloe, I would like to take the time on this ‘Cancelled’ podcast to apologise to you.”
She went on to say, “I think you’re an amazing, powerful, strong woman who’s been through a lot…Khloe, I’m sorry. Tristan, I’m sorry.”
Last week, Khloe shared that she met up with the user who tweeted in her defense.
‘Cancelled’ with Tana Mongeau will explore the star’s former scandals and controversies as she and co-hosts attempt to shape the narrative.
The podcast debuted at #14 on the Apple Podcast charts.
