Another huge win for Rihanna!
After being named the second wealthiest female entertainer in the world last week, the multi-hyphenate billionaire can now add perfumer to her resume with the launch of Fenty Beauty’s first fragrance, Fenty Eau de Parfum.
“Salty and sweet all at once,” the fragrance is inspired by Rihanna’s favourite cities including Bridgetown, Barbados, Grasse, France, New York City, Paris and L.A. It features notes of magnolia, blueberry, musk, tangerine, geranium, Bulgarian rose absolute and patchouli and is described as sensual and seductive.
“The Fenty scent is going to capture so many different memories from different people and different experiences,” Rihanna explained. “So when they smell this again, they’ll remember those experiences. That’s the joy in fragrance.”
Within hours of the August 10th launch, the fragrance sold out. Rihanna took to Instagram to share her excitement with a photo eating caviar in bed, writing, “how I woke up after #FENTYPARFUM sold out this morning!!!”
