YouTube star Trisha Paytas is pregnant!
The controversial creator announced they are expecting their first child with husband Moses Hacmon just months after tying the knot.
“I still can’t believe it. I’m in absolute disbelief and shock but I am so, so grateful,” they said in a video on their main channel.
The 33-year-old went on to say they thought they were “never going to have kids” after being told they were infertile at 25. “I’ve been told that multiple times,” they said. “The first time I ever went to a doctor about this at 25 told me I was never going to have kids. Another doctor was like ‘IVF is going to be your best route because your tubes are just too, too scarred up.'”
Trisha has not been shy about what led to their infertile diagnosis.
In a 2016 video titled ‘WHY I CAN’T HAVE CHILDREN STORYTIME‘, the creator explained that their past work in the sex industry contributed to their infertility.
“It is no secret that I used to work in a sex industry and I always say that I suffer greatly from it,” they said. “I’ve had lots of unprotected sex in my life. And I don’t say that to boast. I say that as a word of caution that what happened to me is something that could happen to anyone.”
Trisha said that after contracting chlamydia twice— once while working in the sex industry and once after they had exited the industry— they developed pelvic inflammatory disease.
“Basically in a nutshell, it means you just can’t really have kids,” Trisha explained of their PID diagnosis. They shared that their ovaries and fallopian tubes are damaged, which makes having children nearly impossible.
In their reveal video, Trisha said they underwent a Hysterosalpingography “HSG” test in December and fell pregnant shortly after.
