This policy explains what Centennial World does with personal information collected through centennialworld.com. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The short version: this website has no sign-up, no login and no analytics. It does not track you. The only personal information we receive through it is what you choose to send us — through the enquiry form or by email.
What we collect
When you contact us. The enquiry form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your brand or agency and a message. If you have selected packages before submitting, the form also records which ones. You can email us directly instead — the choice is yours.
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. They are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us. Netlify handles the data under its own privacy terms as our service provider. We keep that correspondence so we can reply, and so we have a record of enquiries and the conversations that follow from them.
Automatically. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking of any kind on this website. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — including IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested — for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else.
We do not collect sensitive information through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
Cookies and embedded content
Centennial World sets no cookies of its own on this website. Two third parties, however, receive information when you load a page:
- TikTok. Our TikTok accounts are embedded on this site. When those embeds load, TikTok receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited TikTok directly. This is governed by TikTok’s privacy policy, not ours.
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces are served by Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop the embedded TikTok content from displaying, but the rest of the site will work normally.
Links to other platforms
This site links out to our podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, our channel on YouTube, our accounts on TikTok, our newsletter on Substack, and to SponStudio. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s platform, and their privacy policy applies — including anything you subscribe to there. We do not control those services and this policy does not cover them.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your subscription is held by Substack under Substack’s terms. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue.
How we use what you send us
We use the information you email us to respond to you, to scope and deliver campaigns, and to keep a record of who has approached us and what was discussed. We may contact you again about a live or prospective partnership.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with other organisations for their own marketing. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without being asked to.
If you would rather we did not keep your details or contact you again, say so and we will act on it.
Who else sees it
Personal information you send us may be handled by the service providers we use to run the business — our email provider and our website host, Netlify — and by our team and contractors who need it to do their work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of those providers store data outside Australia, which means your information may be held overseas.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the relationship, and then delete it. Campaign records are kept for as long as we need them for reporting, accounting and legal obligations.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not hold large volumes of personal information through this website, which is itself a meaningful protection.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our practices change — for example, if we add analytics to this website. The date below shows when it was last revised.
