Shawn Mendes has set the record straight.
After weeks of speculation over his relationship status, the singer has denied he’s dating Sabrina Carpenter in a new interview for the Dutch television program, RTL Boulevard.
“We are not dating,” Shawn said in response to a question about the nonsense singer. “But I think we should talk about Tommy Hilfiger probably more than Sabrina.”
The artist appeared on RTL Boulevard to promote his new ’90s-style collaboration with the fashion house.
In late February, Shawn and Sabrina were photographed together out and about in L.A.
While Sabrina and Shawn did not hold hands or pack on the PDA during their outing, the photos came one week after someone sent an anonymous tip to Deux Moi claiming the two were spotted on a date.
Despite this, some fans were convinced the rumoured romance was more of a PR move to deflect from the whispers about Shawn’s alleged relationship with his 51-year-old chiropractor and Sabrina’s BBC Live Lounge scandal.
Sabrina has yet to publicly address the dating rumours herself.
