Shane Dawson’s ready to take the beauty world by storm. Again.
This morning, the OG YouTuber uploaded the first video (aside from a “test” clip) to his new beauty channel ShaneGlossin’ and it’s truly the content we deserve.
The 36-minute long video is an extension of his latest series, The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star. But instead of a perfectly-curated, professionally edited video, the bonus episode titled “The End of the Beauty World” is a vlog-style mashup compilation of deleted scenes, bloopers and behind-the-scenes clips.
To the viewers’ surprise, the episode also exposes what really happened during the security scare at Shane’s house — a part that was glossed over in the initial series.
“It was like 8 o’clock and we were on the couch,” Shane says. “And then we heard a banging on my front door. So my gates are closed, right? So that means somebody had to jump over the gates to get to my front door.”
Jeffree warned Shane that people might show up at his house once they announced their makeup collab in an attempt to rob samples. “Jeffree said ‘Listen, once we start doing this palette, people are going to start coming for you.‘ I thought he meant like on Twitter,” Shane explains. “He meant in real life and they would try to come to my house and rob me and find our makeup palette and steal it and fucking counterfeit it.”
The video reveals security footage of the attempted robber who can be seen wearing a hoodie and carrying empty duffle bags. Thankfully, Shane’s fiancé, Ryland, called the cops and the man was arrested on their property.

This is Shane’s first video back after a well deserved two-month-long hiatus following The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star.
Shane previously mentioned on Twitter that he likes to lay low after releasing a series. “After a series I tend to gain weight, spiral, and hibernate for a couple months,” he wrote in defense of his lack of uploads earlier this month.
Based on the opening credits (which will give you chills, trust), it seems Shane will be producing this new channel all on his own.
