Charli D’Amelio is taking hair inspiration from big sister!
The TikTok star debuted bleach blonde locks on day two of Coachella weekend while attending Revolve Festival. Charli’s signature long, dark hair had also been chopped into a bob, sitting just above her shoulders.
Charli’s transformation comes weeks after her sister Dixie D’Amelio also bleached her hair.
Dixie initially shocked fans with the debut of a pixie cut at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party at New York Fashion Week in September— a transformation she documented on her YouTube channel in a video titled “I Just Shaved My Head!“.
In the vlog, Dixie explained that she wanted to shave off her hair for a “fresh start.” Celebrity hairstylist Laura Polko, who shaved Dixie’s hair, said that Dixie has wanted to make this change since she’s known her.
Dixie’s bold transformation has helped catapult the TikTok-star-turned-singer public to new heights, solidifying her as a fashion ‘it girl’ among young Hollywood.
Though it’s likely Charli’s hair transformation was just a wig, we’re loving this new look either way!
